Relevance: The article touches upon all the major problems of aviation sector, just know them. Also focus on the recent steps being taken up by the GOI like allowing ATF import, 49% FDI limit, including private carriers under bilateral air service agreements along with Air India etc.

Relevance: Know about the issue at hand. The keywords to delve upon are Advanced Price Mechanism, Transfer Pricing, General anti avoidance rule, SC’s vodafone judgement etc.

By the way what do you mean by the term “Ex post facto legislation” and its relation with Art20?

3. Water transport: Pg10

Clue: Mark all the important waterways on the map. The 5 national waterways are:

Clue: The article is unimportant but take a moment out and jot down the important findings of HUNGAMA report and NFHS III survey.

5. Muddy questions about Mullaperiyar: Pg11

Relevance: The whole issue has been briefly summed up in this article. A good read.

Clue : Water disputes in India, Dams Safety.

Clue: Mark the dam site, Periyar river,Idukki district etc. on map. Know about the rivers in Kerala (NCERT : XIth) particularly west flowing, major water disputes in India (IYB), Art 262, National Water Council etc.
